Project description
For this project, the electrical installation of a recently purchased home was thoroughly overhauled with the goal of making it compliant for occupancy. The client wanted all necessary works to be fully taken care of by us, both on the technical side and in terms of execution and follow-up.
In the basement, the entire electrical installation was renewed. The existing sockets, switches and lighting were replaced, as they were outdated and no longer functioning correctly. In addition to renewing the end devices, a new distribution board was installed, so the installation could once again be built up safely, clearly and in compliance.
In the rest of the home, a pragmatic approach was chosen. There, mainly the sockets and switches were renewed, while the existing wiring was retained and reused where possible. This allowed the installation to be technically updated without unnecessarily invasive works, while still achieving a sound and future-proof result.
Besides the execution works, the complete electrical file was also drawn up. A layout diagram, a single-line diagram and the necessary electrical plans were prepared so the installation was not only physically in order, but also correctly documented from an administrative point of view.
After completion of the works, an official inspection was carried out, resulting in a compliant installation. The home could therefore be safely occupied with an electrical installation that meets the applicable requirements for habitation.
